Protecting Access to Medicaid

Expanding Access to Care
In August 2020, Missouri voters approved Medicaid expansion, opening the door to coverage for thousands of low-income adults. As of October 1, 2021, Missouri Medicaid now covers adults ages 19 to 64 whose income falls at or below the threshold for their household size. Find more information about eligibility
AT CHCM, we prioritize coverage for the uninsured and underinsured. We:
- Track policy developments affecting Medicaid access and eligibility
- Analyze legislation to understand how it impacts Missouri’s healthcare safety net
- Lead and support advocacy efforts to protect and expand access for those most in need
Medicaid is more than just a health insurance program – it’s a pathway to better health, economic stability, and equity.
