At the Community Health Commission of Missouri (CHCM), we believe that lasting health improvements happen when communities, organizations, and individuals come together to solve tough challenges—from access to care and mental health to economic opportunity and community safety.

Across Missouri, too many people—especially in historically underserved communities—face barriers that affect their health and well-being. These barriers may include gaps in healthcare access, limited resources, and the lasting impact of adversity or trauma. At CHCM, we work with partners across the state to build healthier systems, stronger communities, and better outcomes for everyone.

Why get involved

When you get involved with CHCM, you’re joining a statewide effort to:

Our Ambassador Program is a flexible way to get involved—ideal for individuals who want to spread awareness and support local change efforts without a formal time commitment. As a CHCM Ambassador, you’ll:

  • Connect with others who care about health in your community
  • Be part of a growing network of Missourians working for a stronger, healthier future
