We are guided by three advisory boards that provide critical insight into the healthcare landscape across the state. These boards bring together individuals with lived experience, members of grassroots and community organizations, and healthcare and social service providers to inform CHCM’s work. These groups ensure that our work, policies and initiatives are responsive to the needs of Missourians.
The Wellness & Care Advisory Board represents the voices of those with firsthand experience navigating the health and social service systems without insurance, under Medicaid, or through safety net programs like Gateway to Better Health.
These individuals are experts on the system and its impact on those who navigate it daily. Their lived experience informs CHCM’s efforts to identify barriers, shape policies, and drive meaningful change.
The Community Advisory Board brings together individuals from social services agencies and grassroots organizations across Missouri to provide direct input on CHCM’s work.
Members identify pressing health concerns in their regions, offer feedback on CHCM initiatives, and help bridge the gap between policy and real-world impact. This board ensures that community voices remain central in shaping equitable solutions.
The Provider Services Advisory Board is made up of healthcare and social service providers across Missouri who deliver direct care in safety net settings or support its implementation.
The board identifies healthcare system challenges, informs CHCM initiatives, and ensures policies and programs support both providers and the patients they serve. Members also play a key role in sharing critical health information within their communities.
