As Director of Policy and Advocacy at the Community Health Commission of Missouri, Robert advances the organization’s efforts to eliminate health disparities across the state by developing strategic policy initiatives, mobilizing community coalitions, and integrating equity-centered, trauma-informed principles into advocacy work.
Past Work
Before joining CHCM, Robert served as Policy Impact Strategist at Health Forward Foundation, where he led legislative advocacy efforts and spearheaded the creation of policy briefs and initiatives focused on digital equity, public health infrastructure, and civic engagement. His prior roles span state and local public health agencies, nonprofit leadership, and academic research, consistently centering access to care, chronic disease prevention, and social determinants of health.
Education and Involvement
Robert holds a Master of Public Health in Health Systems and Policy from Rutgers University and a Master of Science in Biomedical Science from Rowan University. He is an active member of the American Public Health Association and serves on the board of the Alliance for a Healthy Kansas.
