Trauma-Informed Systems for Healthcare Teams

We help Missouri healthcare organizations reduce burnout, strengthen care teams, and build trust-centered systems of care.

The challenge many healthcare organizations face

The Reality What’s Possible
Burnout & workforce strain Safer, more regulated care teams
Patient distrust or escalation Stronger trust & communication
Leadership pressure & turnover Sustainable systems change

Workforce strain in healthcare remains significant.

Workforce strain in healthcare remains significant.

A recent Stanford Medicine-led national study reported that U.S. physician burnout rates have declined from pandemic highs — yet remain worryingly high. In the most recent survey cycle (Oct. 2023–Feb. 2024), 45.2% of physicians reported at least one symptom of burnout.

While rates have improved from peak pandemic levels, nearly half of physicians still experiencing burnout signals a persistent systems-level challenge — not an individual resilience issue.

When care teams are overwhelmed, patient experience, safety, and workforce stability are impacted.

EC-TIC helps healthcare organizations address burnout at the systems level by strengthening regulation, leadership alignment, and trauma-informed practices across teams.
