REACH Healthcare Foundation

The REACH Healthcare Foundation has been a vital partner in the work of the Community Health Commission of Missouri (CHCM). Previously, REACH supported ongoing Alive & Well initiatives in Kansas City (see our history), including community engagement efforts and training programs designed to foster community well-being and resilience.

Today, our partnership continues to evolve as we work together to strengthen nonprofit organizations through Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility, and Belonging (DEIAB) Community-Centered Capacity Building Workshops. These workshops provide practical strategies to strengthen organizational DEIAB identity, drive meaningful systems change, and foster a healthier, more inclusive workplace culture.

About the DEIAB Capacity Building Workshops

The DEIAB Community-Centered Capacity Building Workshops offer nonprofit organizations, community leaders, and advocates an opportunity to engage in interactive learning, panel discussions, and strategy development. Each session is designed to:

Strengthen organizational DEIAB identity
Build resilience and well-being for advocates and practitioners
Equip organizations with tools to navigate evolving policy landscapes
Enhance community engagement and leadership
Utilize data-driven strategies to drive meaningful change

These 75-minute sessions are led by subject matter experts and individuals with lived experience, ensuring a rich and applicable learning experience.
