Bringing Healing & Support to Southeast Missouri

In partnership with University of Missouri UM Extension, we are working to strengthen communities across Southeast Missouri. Our goal is to educate communities on the profound impacts of trauma while fostering a cultural shift toward healing, well-being, and equality. We are committed to transforming systems and creating lasting pathways to resilience and recovery. 

Our Approach

Together, we are implementing:

Community Empowerment Workshops & Healing Circles

These gatherings provide a safe space for community members to learn about trauma, grief, and self-care while building supportive relationships. 

  • Led by trained facilitators who guide discussions on stress, healing, and resilience 
  • Open to all, including historically underserved communities 
  • Designed to increase awareness of trauma’s effects and encourage healthy coping strategies 
Equity-Centered Trauma-Informed Trainings for Community
Training for Service Providers

Workshops designed for professionals working with individuals and families to strengthen trauma-informed care and community support. 

  • Focus areas include: understanding trauma, grief, and substance use 
  • Encourages collaboration among service providers for better care coordination 
  • Provides practical strategies to improve communication and engagement 
Faith Leader Training

Specialized workshops that help faith leaders support individuals dealing with trauma, stress, and addiction within their congregations. 

  • Tailored guidance on integrating trauma awareness into faith-based settings 
  • Tools to create a more supportive environment for those in need 
  • Encourages long-term community engagement in healing and recovery efforts
